You're probably right about the audience, HN isn’t exactly retail-investor heavy. I shared here mainly to gather early feedback on usability and the concept itself.

As for differentiation, you’re right again that there are tools out there. What makes MoneyIQ different is that it’s designed specifically for everyday investors, not analysts. The reports are plain-English, structured around key insights (not raw data), and you don’t need to sign up or connect brokerage accounts. Just enter a ticker and get a readable report in seconds.

That said, it’s still early. If you do check it out, I’d value any suggestions on how to make the edge clearer.
