SHOW HN: Stripe Ignoring Legal Letters and Holding $800k+

4•Solsticebay•7mo ago
Stripe has been holding our funds $800k for account id acct_1PH9EbFcbviG0Uct and I shared about that here. Then we sent physical legal letter, and email too and they are ignoring those too.

Our funds have been held hostage since 2024 December, more than 8 months passed and Stripe did not even touch single cent of it as we have no disputes to cover nor refunds

What are we supposed to do here? People in here seems to be on the side of Stripe unless it happens to them, or mark this duplicate even though it is not (as it's an update).

Stripe support doing this trick now: - I chat with them, they make me wait exactly 50 mins saying "they are checking wait 5 mins", and this happened like 10+ times - then they say no they need to convert it to an email - email ignores my request of when funds will be released - I ask chat it says you have open thread (even though thread is closed) - a month passed I chat and it repeats again

So strange part is, 50 mins after I open ticket they close the ticket without any response

What kind of robbery is this? and most importantly why their reputation is so good despite doing things like this and is none really checking Trustpilot. Also why people are so against people who shares things against Stripe, this feels like some type of mob like behavior isn't it?

I can bet someone will flag this post and none will see it too, if you do so, I deeply hope this exact thing happens to you and over 1M of your funds get held

How is it possible company like that who steals people's funds somehow is happy with good reputation and is able to operation, are people really blinded by PR or what is going on here?

And for the people what do you sell, you did not share you are scam: We are Stripe Standard Connect platform, you connect your stripe account to ours, and we bring you users by doing ads if b2c or cold outreach if you are B2B and then take % of sales

I hope someone really puts an end to this, my only choice left is to actually sue them as they are ignoring legal letters and I am not going to honor their arbitration requirement which hides the lawsuit from public and I will show ALL THE IGNORING EVIDENCE. Additionally once a year threshold passes, Stripe will be in violation because as processor you cannot hold someone's funds over a year especially with no disputes
