Tesla board is learning this news at the same time than anybody else - from Elon's tweet.

They have approximately 1 day to do any due diligence necessary for what looks like a massive transaction between a public company that is part of S&P 500 and a private company, who's CEO happen to be the same person.

I know that we are living in an age when law doesn't mean anything anymore, at least in the US, but for younger folks here - people used to go to jail for such things.

> xAI released Grok 4 about a day after removing inappropriate posts by the chatbot on X, including antisemitic comments and replies to users. “Since being made aware of the content, xAI has taken action to ban hate speech before Grok posts on X,” the company posted.

(I'm going to highly anthropomorphize Grok here because I'm not sure of the right terms for what these systems actually do)

It sounds like they haven't taught Grok not to think hateful things. They've only taught it to not actually say those things in public. If that's the case wouldn't it mean that its answers would still be based on its antisemitic beliefs and so still might be highly biased against Jews?
