Ok so the US sent some dude's to cut a deal with the leader of the Congo.

One of them previously had secretly told the leader of the Congo that his head of the presidential guard was a member of a group who were going to start a coup ... and that head of the presidential guard was still in power when they decided to show up in the Congo?

Is this just amateur hour all across the US government now?
