One detail: The younger pilot was flying, and the older pilot monitoring. The report doesn’t say who flipped the switch, but the host went out on a limb and said that the pilot flying is usually completely focused on takeoff. That would be the time to betray your colleague if you were so inclined.

So, who was the older pilot? I searched yesterday expecting some press article about them, but it was all memorials.
