Kinda funny because my act of resistance against having a slack standup at the beginning of the day was to fill mine out at the end of the day when I have a clear memory of what I did and (at best) am raring to go with what I need to tomorrow and ready to write it down.
So far as anybody else knows I became the first person to post a standup rather than the last…. But after a few years of this subversion it hit me that 80% of the team now does it my way.

That's a pretty good idea. In the morning, have to go through my slack before stand up to remember what the heck I did the day before. You just gave me super powers.

I started doing this a few years ago when I was inspired by Cal Newport's daily shutdown routine.
One company adopted it, but my current company loves them a "standup" conversation.
