An ode to Dwight Schrute, The Office's best squad leader

Ordinarily, articles in this category ("career lessons from fictional or historic figure") rub me the wrong way. Neither Julius Caesar or Napoleon Bonaparte gave two figs for multitasking, for example. The "10 life lessons" you're drawing from their lives are kremlinology or overfitting.

I've never been in the military, so I have no idea what a "squad leader" is, but it seems like Dwight Schrute's job was something like squad leader in the first place. It's no coincidence that this article's author can construct a decent case for Schrute as a squad leader.
