I'd suggest going straight to the source and reading through Antiqua et nova direct from the Vatican [1]. I think it's a very well written document about the subject and very clear.

Pope Leo has mentioned AI often since his election[2], so I expect we'll be hearing more from the Magisterium on it in the coming years.

Christianity Today's (you could call them moderate non-maga evangelicals) take on AI:

https://archive.is/7mMl5

I felt a little guilty after reading this in my own negativity about AI, which largely stems from a dislike of the loudest characters in the room on the subject. I'm working to be more positive about it and finding ways to help my friends, especially older ones, take advantage of it. I also felt a little more validated in my own philosophical belief that superintelligence as described is probably unachievable (much like how crypto was supposed to become the singular currency for mankind, lol)

There's nothing wrong with being negative about AI. Even though one can take material advantage of AI, there is also dignity in not using it. I hate AI myself and I think people are foolish to use it so widely.
