In all fairness, AI is not even good for autocompletion in IDEs...and recent studies showed that everyone is actually 19% less productive...so.

Morale wasn't good, so they were given to train their replacement, that never complains. Show morale and you don't have to worry about being replaced by ai.

This is outright laughable. You're being sarcastic right? If you think better morale is going to save you from being chopped by a company with some harder new twist on improving its bottom line, you're in for a rude little surprise.

I'll hope you're not one of those who actually believe the nonsense corporations spew when they say things like "we're a family here and we look out for our own". (They don't, unless "our own" means maintaining executive salaries and perks)
