Hey yeah I heard about this, I thought it was a planet perhaps?

Yeah, over the next few millions of years. The way it is written makes it sound like something where we will see a planet in the next few years. Humans may not still exist by the time that planet forms.

Which then makes me wonder if sentient life forms that may come to be on that new planet will attempt to detect other life in the universe and have totally missed out on Earth's inhabitants. Which is one theory on why we haven't detected any either.
