I built a real AI-first OS solo – with a functional, learning "brain system"

1•chargenorris•6mo ago
Hey HN,

I’m a solo developer from Germany and I’ve spent the last years building something that (I think) is genuinely new: An operating system (KIRA OS) that isn’t just “AI-enabled”, but built entirely around a real, functional AI brain – at the kernel level.

The system learns directly from users in real time (no endless retraining, no cloud dependency, no massive datasets).

It’s multi-lingual, self-healing, can generate small working programs on its own, and even gives legal advice (German law, for now).

The brain-like knowledge architecture actually works – it’s not a wrapper on top of Linux or Windows, but a true AI-first OS.

All of this was built solo, with no VC, no team, no hype.
I’ve tested it in live environments, and had technical analysis done by independent AI systems (e.g., Claude Sonnet 3.7), with full video proof.

I’m now looking for partners, visionaries, or companies who want to help scale, stabilize, and unleash what this can really do – across any industry (AI driving, robotics, health, law, whatever).

AMA about the technical side, the architecture, or the crazy journey of trying to build an AGI OS alone. Source code and demos are available for review/discussion (just DM or comment here).

Would love real feedback, hard questions, and ideas from the HN community. Thanks for reading!

Marcus

KIRA AGI – the real AI brain – is already working and can be demoed today. KIRA OS, the new operating system I’m building to showcase the full AI integration, is currently in early development/testing and not yet ready for public demos.

For now, all breakthrough results come from the KIRA AGI engine, which can run on existing operating systems as a service/API. The full KIRA OS stack is the next milestone – if you want, I can show you how the AGI works, and share the OS progress as it gets more mature.
