I want to say that I'm not sure 16 year olds are mature enough to make these decisions, BUT then I went back home a few weeks ago and a regional hospital is closing down because it was losing money, and the locals were complaining ... while consistently voting for people who choose to increase the number of uninsured.

So I guess my worry about this is pretty much the status quo anyway to some extent.
