If loading the kernel with "loadbsd" from AmigaOS, you can have your netbsd partitions above 4GB just fine.
The (only?) annoyance is that you need a copy of the kernel somewhere AmigaOS can read.
I run it on my A1200 in this manner :)
Also note the mandb task takes a long time (longer on my 030@50 A1200), but only needs to run once, on the first boot.
