These "scam investigators" , along with Zach XBT, never investigate youtube crypto giveaway scams , like those impersonating Elon Musk and others. These collectively since 2020 have stolen much more than rug pulls, yet entirely under the radar and get no attention or help for victims. Probably tens thousands of people have collectively lose $100+ million and not a peep. These guys have the platform to try to force youtube to take further action.

Russians likely, but it's hard to tie it a specific entity or group, unlike coordinated rug pulls or Lazarus. This makes it harder to investigate, but someone like Zach can try to coordinate where the funds are being sent, such as exchanges, to try and to freeze the funds. Kucoin is a common one
