It's also a time asymmetry thing. Prior to AI there were widespread slop problems because 1 unit of writing time might cause 10000 units of reading time, and so it's easy to waste people's time entirely out of proportion with the time you put in.
W/ LLMs you can put out 100x writing with 1/100th of the time, and now that asymmetry is so much worse.
