Ephemeral video premieres – who might care?

1•onetimeshowapp•6h ago
I built a weird little experiment and I’m not sure who it’s really for.

The idea: You upload a video (say, 10 minutes), choose a premiere time — e.g. 16:00. At exactly 16:00, the video goes live. It plays in real time and then deletes itself.

If you join at 16:02, you’ll be watching minute 2 — not the beginning. You can't rewind. You can't save. Miss it, and it's gone. Kind of like a digital theatre.

I’m curious: – Who might this resonate with? – Is there a niche that would value something non-permanent and synchronous like this? – Any examples where "one-shot media" has worked before?

Not trying to pitch — just genuinely exploring the psychology and potential use cases. Feels like there's something interesting here, but I haven’t found the right framing yet.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
