We were so close to losing our democracy in 2024, with 1) lawfare and locking up political opponents 2) attacks on free speech and the constitution 3) flooding the US with illegals into swing states so the "The glorious socialist Democrat party" would be in power forever.

Came so close to a totalitarian nightmare, thank god they lost.

If you’re so far to the right you think of the Democratic Party as “socialist”, you’re already in a totalitarian nightmare.

But I suppose the Koolaid tastes good.

It's a totalitarian nightmare right now too, what rock are you living under? Why would one group of the same ideology be tyrants and not the other, just because they have a few different policy opinions?

Democrats slap a rainbow on everything and call it liberation. Republicans slap red white and blue on everything and call it freedom. They're both pawns of the same ruling class who get a free ride on our backs.

This still looks like immigration theatre to me. They’re pulling people off the streets without a lot of concern as to their specific status. However, I’m unaware of any action against the people and companies who hire and profit from illegals. They’re the big offenders, as without their cash there’d be less reason to stay. But, if they’re being left along because “they’ve checked their workers”, then I guess they’re all legal and ICE is grabbing them in error. Customers aren’t narc’ing them out, just pocketing the reduced charges so I guess they’re complicit as well?
