Sunk cost, I kept thinking "oh maybe this change will fix it!" Turns out I just wasted my time, either way I'm happily working with Zed now :)

I installed Code to have it there for debugging, but after switching from plain Neovim to the LazyVim (Neovim config) w/ Copilot, I just don't use it all that much.

Granted, when I was at Meta, their VSCode fork was essentially required to do almost any real work because of all of the infrastructure-level integrations added on. The experience of a organization-managed IDE also wasn't so nice because the list of approved extensions list was limited for security reasons, which was inconvenient especially for languages required for your job. What many people did was use Vim for text editing and VSCode for managing diffs.
