At least there is some hope that the settlers will face justice. IMHO, this is of utmost importance to the matter of a final resolution of the calamity, and such arrests are an issue that the Palestinian people deserve - justice for the many, many crimes of the settlers.
One can hope that the tide is slowly turning in this conflict. It is incumbent on we, the people of the Free World™, to keep the heat on.
IMHO, the mere fact we are discussing this on HN, traditionally very resistant to propagating news such as this, may signal a change in tide.
Edit: minute. It’s gone.
If the title was less “Palestinian” maybe it would not be flagged. I remember when the Netflix Nachos crew member was killed in Mexico by a cartel, this was on HN.
The majority of Mexicans do not support the cartels. A majority of Israelis support settlers.
They're not combatants. Its the "T-word", which is pliably used in another context as just this centuries "N-word"...
Recall that Hamdan Ballal was beaten by settlers and soldiers and arrested in March of this year as well.
It is a complex ethnic conflict no doubt, I am not saying it isn't. But actually the settlers in the West Bank part is kinda simpler. These people are hounded away by militias backed by their state, by guns, bulldozers and settlements. Meanwhile, Israeli human rights organisations have just called their government's actions as undeniably genocidal.
I wish peace to all civilians living in that part of the world, but it feels so far away.

Ben Gvir should be held responsible here.
