I felt isolated when i was a new mom. (Kids are now 9 and 11) Since moving from NYC to NJ, I haven’t really found anyone into the same things I love — like breakdancing (yep, I’m a 40+ mom who still loves it ). I used to have a crew in the city. So I decided to build an app for it. It’s called Activity Tribe — it’s an accountability partner app that connects you with someone based on your hobbies or interests, and zipcode, the app helps you match, check in, and even earn points (like DuoLingo) just for showing up. its like a dating app — but just for hobbies and friendship. It’s still super early (MVP stage and a little buggy ), but I’m launching it here in Montclair first and thinking of giving a few months free when it actually launch (not sure how long , still figuring that out ) and would love your feedback, do you think it will help you? if you’re curious to try it, follow me as i build it.
