But it won't. Chicken and egg problem in the US. Mostly solo occupant ICE vehicles are deeply ingrained in the sense of freedom and entitlement in American culture.

Great article for the most part, then throws in abundant parking? Great transit should reduce the need for parking, such that current levels are adequate, and in the long term go down.
