I'm sure you're well aware of the dire state of the UK, I've had enough of this country and the ever lowering standard of living.

I've been applying for roles at US companies, I'd consider myself a pretty strong SRE/Platform Engineer, but I realise that being located here is probably going to be a massive barrier, especially with H1Bs being under the spotlight recently.

So I am just wasting my time, or is there something I can do to stand out?
