Considering asking they have to hand in their "judge licence".

I believe some judges have asked if barristers and attorneys should, if they "pull this one trick which judges hate"

I never like Edward de Bono but the metaphorical value of his "thinking caps" here is strong: nobody asked for judges to reach for a dismembered nexus 9 android head to put on.
