I'm launching MitiFresh, a marketplace that connects people with excess homegrown produce to buyers in their community.
The Problem: Millions of households grow fruits and vegetables that often go to waste because they produce more than they can consume. Meanwhile, others are looking for fresh, local produce but lack access.
Our Solution: MitiFresh creates a simple way for backyard gardeners to list their excess produce and for local buyers to discover fresh food grown in their neighborhood. Sellers earn passive income while reducing food waste.

I built this after noticing how much produce went unharvested in my neighborhood during peak growing seasons. As a developer with an interest in sustainability and local food systems, I wanted to create something that could simultaneously reduce waste, build community connections, and help people earn from their gardens.
