Things Apple Maps Does Better Than Google Maps

The one thing to remember is google maps is actually separate to google location - it's location services most people rely on as a means to determine where an address is.

Now in Australia at the very least, google's location services are either borked or they're running a dark pattern to force people, esp those with businesses to register and fix the BS location that google location service has suggested. With the reliance on Google's services in the last 10 years, it was so woeful that rural to the door parcel deliveries in our parts ceased since so many delivery companies were using google - time spent driving miles back and forth trying to narrow down the given address via directions is time lost ... and ultimately money lost. Note, checked my location with google again, still miles away - their actual map zoomed right in, actually has the ____'in address clearly printed for the right location.

Myself - apple maps actually became unusable (I guess because I don't have the latest and greatest whatever,) and duckduckgo search no longer refers a working location via apple maps as it once did as part of results ... in my parts, it's Whereis for the win.
