Show HN: WTMF: An AI Companion for Late-Night Thoughts – Launching Next Week

3•ishqdehlvi•16h ago
We're launching the beta of WTMF (working title) next week. It's designed to be an AI companion for those moments when your mind won't shut off late at night.

The idea came from those frustrating 2 AM situations where you feel the need to express what's on your mind but don't necessarily have someone available or want to reach out in a traditional way. WTMF offers a space to voice note your thoughts and receive a supportive response from an AI designed to simply listen and understand, without judgment. It's not intended as therapy, but more as a digital "bestie" for those isolated moments.

We've focused on creating a natural interaction, especially through voice, to try and capture the nuances of those late-night anxieties (the "uff yaar" feeling, as we've been calling it internally).

The beta will be rolling out to those on our waitlist initially. We're a small team based in Hyderabad, India, and are eager to get feedback and iterate.

More details on the launch date and how to potentially get access will be shared soon. We're hoping WTMF can provide a little bit of solace during those otherwise lonely hours.

Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback. https://wtmf.ai https://beta.wtmf.ai
