A few years ago, I started building intelli-shell as a personal project to solve a problem I constantly faced: forgetting complex shell commands and then wasting time digging through my .bash_history.
What began as a simple project has now matured into a tool I'm proud to release as v1.0.0. This version is a complete rethink, moving beyond just my own needs to focus heavily on user experience and customization. The goal is to make your command history not just a log, but an interactive and searchable knowledge base.
It's designed to be fast, intuitive, and highly configurable. I built it to fill a void I saw, and I'm hoping it can be useful to others who live in the terminal.
It's open-source, and I'd love to get your feedback—the good, the bad, and the brutally honest.

This looks really cool, and I plan to check it out once I get a little more time. I don't want to detract from it, but I wanted to mention atuin as that largely solved this issue for me
