I was reading about the Shroud of Turin pretty recently as I find the relics and history of Christianity (other religions too) to be absolutely fascinating. I came away with a very clear understanding the Shroud of Turin simply isn’t an impression of Jesus and there doesn’t seem to be any particularly strong evidence to the contrary.

But what I do find interesting is that it’s so old that it basically is a relic by virtue of its age, even though it’s not the “real thing”. Wow!
