Show HN: I Built an AI C. Extension That Finds Perfect LinkedIn Leads in Seconds

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/linkedin-ai-lead-assistan/homodpkcpcclamjdmndokadolmpijkff

After 7 days of non-stop coding (and too much coffee), I built a Chrome Extension to fix a personal pain: spending hours on LinkedIn trying to find good leads, writing awkward messages, and constantly second-guessing myself.

It’s called LinkedIn AI Lead Assistant — a lightweight Chrome extension that runs on Gemini 2.5 Pro (plus 2.5 Flash, 1.5 Pro, and more) to instantly tell if a LinkedIn profile is a good lead.

It’s fast, simple, and surprisingly smart. You can:

Auto-analyze any LinkedIn profile Get lead quality scores instantly Choose from 7 message tones Pick short, medium, or long outreach drafts See what the lead cares about based on profile signals

I built it solo in VS Code using `manifest.json`, `popup.html`, `popup.js`. No external database—just local storage and real-time AI.

The extension runs entirely on-device until you hit “Analyze.” Then Gemini 2.5 Pro does the heavy lifting.

If you’re in sales, recruiting, or just tired of guessing who to message on LinkedIn, I’d love for you to try it let me know what you think.
