The Problem: Most retail investors struggle with portfolio diversification and risk assessment. Traditional tools are either too complex for beginners or too simplistic for serious research. Why I Built This: After seeing friends lose significant money during market volatility due to poor diversification, I wanted to create something that makes sophisticated risk analysis accessible to everyone, not just institutional investors. The AI component was particularly interesting to implement – training it to provide nuanced financial advice while maintaining appropriate disclaimers and avoiding overly prescriptive recommendations.
