I don't see how mass destruction of people's homes, livelihoods, relatives, puts and end to terrorism. If anything it seems like it is banking more in the future.

I wonder if this is the tone you would use were you discussing Holocaust. For you, this is just an abstraction. You do not see how insane you are (I don't mean you personally, rather the society in which you live).

What rock are you living under? Have you seen what a good half of the cities in Luhansk and Donbass look like? They look worse. Most of those cities will never be rebuilt, and the destruction is so thorough. There are shots of Bakhmut that look like the end of the world. During the day, the sky was black, you couldn't even see the sun, and you could smell the death and destruction from kilometers away.

That destruction is horrifying. Apologies I hadn't realised there was such damage in so many areas.

I'm not sure it is worse, from those sources, but it's not a competition. It is absolutely destruction to a scale we seldom see.

Gaza does have the added dimensions of the entire region and population being affected with no hope of rebuilding whilst Israel basically cuts off all supply routes. Hopefully in the future for Ukraine those areas that are less affected can contribute to rebuilding themselves parts.

It seems that's the problem - part? of the problem revenge . Seems everyone/most? wants to wipe all others out, not make pragmatic decision to stop the seemingly always ongoing fighting over the years.

If there is not going to be a "circuit breaker" then it seems these wars will continue.

If Hamas not in Gaza, Israel would have no excuse for attacking. REcall Hamas has said they want to kill all Israel people.

My understanding of situation is quite limited to recentish events. Obviously other has different views based on their involvement.
