So, I want to make my own version of fit3d , the 3d body scanning app. Partly because it too expensive for me and partly to match my desired use. I thought opensource software like meshroom could be used to get a 3d point cloud, but the best use case I could find for scanning yourself alone was: standing still on a turntable that gets rotated 360° (not practical).
