Your customers are the best people to rate your product and answer your questions. Price might not even be an issue if your app doesn't do what they want or need, in which case you're barking up the wrong tree. Make it free (at least for awhile) in exchange for a way to contact and poll customers, if your download site doesn't have a comment and rating system.
