Time for my rant. On iPhone you cannot scan a QR barcode just to copy the link if you are using a non-default browser. Examining the QR code will always open the URL. Apparently the copy link functionality is restricted to Safari users.

One SO suggestion was to enable airplane mode before scanning the code. https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/452789/how-do-i-sc...

I made a shortcut for this that allows me to view the content before opening the URL.
