Show HN: CropImages – A Minimal, Fast Image Cropping Tool for Web

https://www.cropimages.co/en
1•devxiyang•2h ago
Hi HN!

I built CropImages.co, a super simple, privacy-friendly image cropping tool designed for speed and usability. It’s made for anyone who just wants to crop an image without installing anything or uploading to slow/overloaded editors.

Why I made it Most online image editors are overloaded with features, slow to load, or require uploading your image to the cloud. I just wanted a tool to crop an image quickly, in-browser, and move on. So I made CropImages.co.

Features • Crop any image in your browser (no upload required) • Super fast – loads instantly • Privacy-first – everything runs locally • Pixel-precise cropping and drag handles • Output: download as PNG or JPG

Tech stack • Built with TypeScript + HTML Canvas • Lightweight, mobile-friendly • No dependencies or tracking scripts

Try it here: https://cropimages.co It’s open to feedback – I’d love to hear what you think or what features you’d want next!

Thanks for checking it out

My basic screenshot chrome extension does it for FREE and with many other features like text overlay, market, blur, etc.

Advice: launch your browser extension as well.
