Uhhhhh, no. It's propping up Wall Street by itself. That flow of spending does not recirculate particularly to other manufacturing, shipping, agriculture, health care delivery, or most other sectors.

Godzilla became sympathetic once Mothra (or Ghidra, or the Smog Monster, or others showed up). That's where the simile fails.
