Show HN: Train – AI Workout Companion That Helps You Train Smarter

https://train-fit.vercel.app/
1•sumit-paul•2h ago
I built Train, a mobile-first fitness companion that logs workouts and gives real-time AI suggestions while you train. I made it because most fitness apps either slow you down or don't adapt to how you actually work out.

Train lets you log sets, reps, and weights from a library of over 100 exercises. The interface is built for speed and ease, especially on mobile.

The AI suggests your next exercise based on your goals, training history, and current session intensity. You don’t need to plan anything in advance.

It also includes a built-in coach powered by Google Gemini. You can ask for form tips, routine advice, or help with recovery, and it gives context-aware answers in real time.

Your workouts are tracked with volume, estimated calories, and other metrics. Over time, the AI helps you understand trends in your progress.

It supports Google login, uses JWT for auth, and stores data in MongoDB for multi-user access.

This started as something I wanted for myself, but it’s now something I use daily. Would love feedback on the flow, suggestions on the AI, or ideas to make it more useful.
