I'm surprised by the "have been found not to receive the normal extent of damage upon major impact" quote about cybertrucks as I've heard about various issues with the build quality and how they have trouble surviving an encounter with a car wash.
Also, it seems odd that an enemy of the U.S. would choose cybertrucks when they could conceivably be disabled remotely by Tesla (presumably more likely to side with the U.S.). Maybe this is in preparation for a possible civil war as that would seem the most likely scenario where they need to destroy cybertrucks.

Seems to me that this defeats the purpose of the exercise, as it will totally change the mass, resistance and COG of the vehicles
