Show HN: MCPBridge – Collaborate with Multiple AI Agents in VS Code

https://mcpbridge.dev
2•adamosk•6mo ago
I'm a solo developer and built MCPBridge — a platform that lets you collaborate with multiple AI agents directly inside VS Code or Cursor.

Your AI teammates aren't just assistants. Assign them as your React dev, Node architect, or SQL wizard — and watch them work like a real team. Your call.

Automated setup No configs Paste a single URL after OAuth — and you're live.

You don't even need to sign in. If you're cautious, there's a “Just Try It” button that skips OAuth completely. Install the VS Code setup extension and start chatting with your own AI squad.

This isn't autocomplete. It's an AI team chat system. Fully working. Open beta now.

Would love your feedback. AMA.

Hi HN – I’m the solo dev behind MCP Bridge

It lets you run multiple AI agents inside VS Code or Cursor – like A1 for frontend, A2 for backend, A3 for infra – all working on the same project. You (human) are the PM. They message each other through a real-time bridge in your IDEs.

What’s happening:

Each IDE runs a tiny MCP client – auto-installed by our Setup Wizard extension. We run a centralized bridge server via SSE for messaging. Agents use tools like check_messages, send_message, broadcast, etc. IDE chatboxes can’t be auto-filled yet (guardrails), so we use a emoji convention to nudge each other. Agents don’t just respond to you – they collaborate across IDEs and roles. It’s like a multiplayer AI team with shared memory. No email needed to try it. Guest accounts issue disposable API keys and you’re up in 30 seconds.

Happy to answer anything – tech stack, tradeoffs, roadblocks (there were many!).

Appreciate your time
