This lands on a page having nothing about this alert.

Hmm. I search web, find this [url]https://guidebooks.google.com/online-security/account-hacked/verify-security-alert[/url] and read:

"All genuine security alerts from Google are listed on the Security page of your Google Account."

I go there. This alert is absent.

So ... this security alert in Gmail is not a genuine security alert from Google??

What a mess.
