I loved my Commodore 64 back in the day. I wonder if it would be possible to purchase the rights to make licensed sequels to some of the big name C-64 games. I'm imagining taking original game code and feeding it into $LLM-of-choice and vibe coding updated versions, now that the new machines have increased memory. The same aesthetic, but no worries about squeezing the code onto a 5.25" floppy diskette.
That said, "starts at $462" might be a hard sell for that nostalgia, especially when that money could buy upgrades for my modern-but-aging PC.
