we are Jochen and Federico and are building TENUM (tenum.ai) - a completely serverless development platform and runtime for realtime web apps (other platforms will follow soon) using Lua .
We started it as a side project a while back being frustrated with fragmented stacks, glue-code, boilerplate and complex pipelines etc. So we wanted to abstract everything away that is not essential for writing business code.
TENUM standardizes full‑stack application development around a small set of high‑level artifacts. All app code (frontend, backend, APIs, AI handler) is written in Lua and organized in a repo. The platform handles instantiation, deployment, scaling, rollback, and metering so devs can focus on business logic. I.e. no DevOps, infra, or boilerplate, you can deploy instantly.
You start directly on a Kanban board, can bring your own IDE or use the integrated WebIDE. No other tooling is needed. Everything underneath works as functions as a service.
In essence you get a scalable, fullstack, real-time app incl. all the infrastructure for the effort of a ReactApp.
Also, it has the following potential - TENUM is based on Kotlin Multiplatform. Right now you can build PWAs but also for any other platform in the future. - Due to the very high abstraction, TENUM works really well with the integrated MCP on e.g. Copilot. We see that AI has significant less mental load and therefore achieves much better results. - Soon we will integrate code sharing and fingerprinting for attribution/monetization across the whole platform. So devs can also monetize their stuff automatically.
AtM TENUM is in Beta - but we are already developing real apps on it ourselves. You can try and play with it completely free under: https://preview.tenum.app/
Thx for any feedback!
