I'm not sure what the article is trying to accomplish. An ungenerous take would be that it is trying to shame people without regard for what gives them happiness.
It also seems to cast a whole range of activities as "right-wing coded", whatever that means. Or imagining that all the enumerated "negative characteristics" (like hard work, choosing not to have children, etc.) coalesce in hordes of (male) individuals.
I mean, if someone prefers to spend 14 hours doing something they're passionate about, e.g. programming, or working on a startup, or making music, or writing, or whatever it is, why poop on it?
