Show HN: Quick Candidate – College/ new grad job search focused on transparency

https://quickcandidate.com
1•prestonkelly•1h ago
What are you all running into with your job search? Companies and/or candidates, how can I simplify this process?

Is there something job search platforms aren't doing that you'd love to see? I've added in features to Quick Candidate like sending denial emails to all applicants if the job is "deactivated", users are notified when their resume status changes, candidate limits that are shown to the user once the # of applicants is above a certain threshold. I've added some interesting, to say the least, ideas below of things that users might want.

Examples:

Applying to jobs in batches? Apply to all Software Engineering jobs

Having the ability to book time with the company? Are companies going to dedicate that much, if any time? Probably not, but maybe smaller companies can outline something like Tuesday 12–1pm every week to meet with potential candidates.

Companies must submit a status update before moving to the next candidate?

Pre-approval process before you're able to apply. Fill out your resume on the site; if the job you're trying to apply for doesn't match, you can't apply (or the job won't be shown).
