I’m excited to share The Point Poker [https://www.thepointpoker.com], a web app I built in a month to make agile effort estimation fun and intuitive. As an engineer in a company running 3-4 grooming/planning sessions per sprint, I wanted a tool that’s fast, visually appealing, and engaging for pointing tasks and stories.
The Point Poker is an MVP focused on engineers (B2C for now), built with Astro, React, Vercel, Supabase, and Shadcn for a smooth, minimal experience. What sets it apart: - *Minimal UI*: Designed in Figma for a clean, distraction-free interface. - *Gamification*: Level up as you point, keeping sessions engaging. - *Custom Cards*: Unlock unique cards (crafted in Procreate) to estimate with style.
I used Plausible Analytics for privacy-first usage tracking to understand how teams interact. Future plans include B2B features like Jira/Slack integrations and team wellness tools (e.g., sentiment dashboards).
I’d love your feedback on the UI, gamification, or tech stack. What features would you want in a team-focused version? Try it at [https://www.thepointpoker.com] and let me know your thoughts!
Thanks
