I’ve been experimenting with pay-per-request APIs using the L402 protocol and built a lightweight Ruby middleware inspired by Boltwall . It integrates with LND and uses macaroons to protect endpoints behind Lightning payments.

Might be useful for anyone building Lightning-authenticated services or exploring pay-for-access models in Ruby/Rails.
