Is there a HN userscript to block all posts that directly link Twitter?

I'm calling BS.

A $30 web cam can't spot a plane 100 miles away. The resolution is simply too low.

Apparently, Musk has a *visual* fixation.

This would be significantly more interesting if it weren't an 8 minute video embedded on twitter.

This is just silly on so many fronts. It’s completely useless in even partially inclement weather. It doesn’t work at night. They don’t actually show it tracking “stealth” craft with other aircraft or even birds in the picture (at least for the portion of video I was willing to watch).

Even if this does spot them, so what? You aren’t mounting this onto a rocket to shoot them down. Knowing a plane is approaching 30 seconds before it gets to you is almost completely useless unless you’ve got a fireman’s pole into your bomb shelter and the plane happens to not be carrying bunker busters as a payload.
