It’s crazy that Pam and Kash are posting about this online while Bolton’s been charged with nothing. Just so unprofessional and Stasi-esque.
cosmicgadget•5mo ago
"The DOJ and FBI don't comment on ongoi- lmao jk you are in the bizarro timeline bruh."
cosmicgadget•5mo ago
> Bolton served in Trump's first term in the White House for just over a year, but has since become a sharp critic of the president. He has said he believed Trump would use the Department of Justice to enact a "retribution presidency."

Not that it was any surprise but he definitely called it. I read elsewhere that the warrant was for classified docs which would be impressive since he's been out of the game for many years.

An hour or two before the search/raid, NPR posted an interview with Bolton, "John Bolton discusses what security guarantees for Ukraine might look like":

(Some folks are joking that the FBI have finally found the Epstein files.)

this is hilarious and could not have happened to a worse excuse for a human being.

john bolton has the blood of countless people on his hands.

bix6•5mo ago
O yeah it’s hilarious he’s being tried for all the blood on his hands! O wait they’re just making an example of him for… speaking out against Trump, I mean classified document misuse? Righteous.
buyucu•5mo ago
look at the beauty of it: an old white dude, a villanous warmongering neocon, is being harassed by a indian dude with brown skin, while the maga idiots cheer on. it can't get more ironic than this.
throw0101a•5mo ago
Trump seems to have a very 'eccentricæ level of knowledge about the world; him yesterday: "I have a lot of golf courses all over the place. I know more about grass than any human being, I think, anywhere in the world."

* https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politic...

Trump today: "We’re going to find out. I know nothing about it. I just saw it this morning, they did a raid."

* https://www.politico.com/news/2025/08/22/fbi-searches-ex-nat...

Also today (on Fox News): "I tell Pam [Bondi] and I tell the group, I don't wanna know, but you have to do what you have to do."

* https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1958897383288304126

Also, coïncidentally, the first batch of Epstein files are heading over to Congress today:

> Also today (on Fox News): "I tell Pam [Bondi] and I tell the group, I don't wanna know, but you have to do what you have to do."

Kind of reminds me of the Mitchell & Webb comedy skit about "Needlessly ambiguous terms":

>Also, coïncidentally, the first batch of Epstein files are heading over to Congress today:

Is anyone else surprised that, Trump being Trump, anything and everything related to Epstein hasn't already been burned in a big dumpster and deleted from all of the databases?

Like, unless these files are specifically crafted around a narrative to indict Trump's enemies and exonerate him, I would have expected some kind of Stalin-esque historywashing to have taken place by now, beyond Trump just awkwardly insisting they don't exist and Epstein doesn't matter.
