Trump mobilizing up to 1,700 National Guard troops in 19 states

See also the Fox confirmation [1]:

> Up to 1,700 National Guardsmen are set to mobilize in 19 states in the coming weeks to assist the Department of Homeland Security with President Donald Trump’s nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration and crime, Pentagon officials confirmed to Fox News.

> Documents obtained by Fox News show planning for activations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wyoming – with status effective from August through mid-November. Texas is projected to host the most significant Guard presence.

It should be noted this comes after the National Guard deployed to DC had been ordered to begin carrying lethal weapons in the nation's capital[2]:

> At the direction of the Secretary of Defense, JTF-DC members supporting the mission to lower the crime rate in our Nation’s capital will soon be on mission with their service-issued weapons, consistent with their mission and training

Wyoming and South Dakota? What are they expecting to find there, exactly?
Tadpole9181•5mo ago
Like many things in this regime, it's not about the stated goal. Just as with the "flood the field" strategy they use, it's about setting precedent and normalizing the US military being deployed domestically while moving too fast for the media and watchdogs to keep up.

Their end goal is the death of Posse Comitatus. Let's watch the flow:

- Deploy to California, "justified" by protests. But it's okay, we won't make arrests.

- Change orders to make arrests.

- Deploy to DC, justified by vague "crime". But we won't use lethal force. And it's not a state, so no PC issues.

- Mandate lethal weapons.

- Deploy to "friendly" states, justified by nothing. But, it's okay the governors have to consent.

Trump, being himself, has already given away the plot. From here, they continue to desensitize their own base to military deployments within our homes. They crack down more in blue cities within the red states, then use any resistance as justification. Then they expand to "less cooperative" states.

I once knew a guy, at DOJ, who always said the Third Amendment is the most important one.

For those who don't believe me:

- Trump, pre-election already stating his desire to use the US military against his political opposition: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoShitSherlock/s/tNPkCijSdD

- Trump, two days ago, saying he wants to expand the deployment to Chicago, and then New York: https://youtu.be/ynjoX66iHTY

jan 6 is a glaring demo of what can happen by riling up enough starters.

knowing that, its logical that an authoritarian, would create a perimeter, to curtail similar attempts to overthrow the regime.

That's a lot of "red" states. Looks like a money transfer since the Federal Gov pays for the activated guards. Right outta the Texas immigration playbook to fund their border dog and pony show. There are a couple "blue" states in there so my bet is any news of sudden criminal and immigration outbreaks happen there to justify the payments to the others.
