A while back I came across https://github.com/npm/npm-expansions, a fun repository where people came up with alternative meanings for "npm." By the time I found it, though, the repo was no longer being maintained.

So I decided to start my own version, not limited to npm, but covering all sorts of programming related acronyms as well.

It’s just a lighthearted fun project, nothing too serious. You can even use it in your own projects via its API :) though I do wonder where exactly you’ll end up using it.
